How the Day Runs

Two sessions, one Thursday

Come to whichever one fits. The afternoon is aimed at women rebuilding after a divorce and at anyone sitting in a relationship that has gone unhappy. The evening is open to all four doors, and it opens with a carnival.

1 to 2 PM · Afternoon

For divorced women, and for anyone in a relationship that is not working. A smaller room and a more direct conversation about healing first, and about what comes after.

7 to 8:30 PM · Evening

  • 6:30 VIP dinner with Charisse, for anyone who added it
  • 7:00 Doors open. Carnival, vendor tables, and activities
  • 7:30 The workshop starts
  • 8:30 We finish

Register for the session you want. If you want both, say so and Charisse will save you a seat at each.

Why This Night Exists

Ten percent above the water. Ninety percent below.

Charisse was standing in her kitchen when her daughter asked why everyone loved her dad, and why nobody could see the real him. The answer she gave became a book, and then a framework: what you see in a person is the tip. The part that decides how your relationship actually goes is underneath.

This workshop is where she hands you the three steps for getting to it. Before you say "I do," and after.

What You'll Walk Out With

Find. Transform. Intentionally Love.

That's what FTI stands for. One hour, three steps, and a way of looking at the person across from you, and at yourself, that you can use the next morning.

F

Find

Discover what your icebergs actually are, then learn to spot theirs. What makes them tick. What makes you tick. Most people have never once looked at their own list, which is exactly why the same pattern keeps showing up wearing a different face.

T

Transform

The fairy-tale version of marriage versus the real one. Charisse grew up on Cinderella and thought that was the deal: everyone's happy, everything gets along. Then came the first fight, on the honeymoon. You'll look at the expectations you carried in and which ones have to change, and at the old truth that one finger points out while three point back.

I

Intentionally Love

You'll stand up in that room and say out loud: I love myself. I am worthy. I deserve it. Whichever one catches in your throat is the one to work on, because you cannot intentionally love another person until you can say all three. Then you choose it, daily, on purpose, for them too.

Four Doors, One Room

Whichever chair you're sitting in.

The three steps don't change. What changes is what you do with them. Tell Charisse which one you are when you register, and she'll aim the night at you.

Single · Discover

Find your icebergs before you choose again

"I got a boyfriend so I would never be alone. It took writing a book to see what I was really doing."

Learn what's actually driving your pattern, so the next relationship is a choice instead of a reflex.

Before you come

  • Bring something to write with. There's reflection work in the room, not just listening.
  • Come alone or bring your person. Both work. Couples often hear different things.
  • Think of one relationship that broke your heart. Charisse opens there, and you'll want it ready.
  • Take the free Iceberg Check first. Three minutes, and you'll walk in already knowing what you want to ask her.

Can't make the 22nd? The four-week program runs in person and live online, so you can join from anywhere. Or email Charisse and she'll tell you when the next live night is.

Before You Register

Questions about the night

Is it really free?

Yes. The seat costs nothing and there's no card at registration. After you register you'll be offered a couple of optional add-ons, and you can decline both and still get the full session.

Why is this the last one at this price?

Because this is where the work goes from something Charisse is building to something she's running. October 22 is the last Flipping the Iceberg workshop at this price. If you've been meaning to hear her in person and haven't yet, this is the night to do it.

How limited is "seating is limited"?

Limited by the room, not by marketing. When the seats are gone, registration closes, and the dinner seats are capped lower still.

Do I need to have read the book?

No. Come as you are. The hour stands on its own.

I'm married and we're fine. Is this going to be awkward?

No. Married people are one of the four doors, and "reconnect" is a real reason to be there. Nobody is asked to share anything in front of the room that they don't want to.

Can I bring my spouse, fiancé, or a friend?

Please do. Just register each seat so the count stays right, and mention it if you're both coming to dinner.

Is this therapy or a support group?

Neither. Charisse is an author, speaker, and coach, not a licensed therapist, and nothing in this workshop is a substitute for professional therapy or medical advice. It's a framework for seeing your own patterns, and it can sit alongside work you're doing with a professional.

Is there a Zoom option for the 22nd?

Not for this one. October 22 is in person only. The four-week program that follows runs both in person and live online, so distance isn't an issue there.

Two sessions. Free seat. The last one at this price.

This is the last Flipping the Iceberg workshop at this price. You deserve to be happy. You deserve to be treated with respect. You deserve to be loved.
